It is now common for customers to build their own spray booth enclosure. This may be due to an awkward building size or to simply reduce costs. TSS are always happy to assist customers with this and can provide valuable advice on booth size, construction materials and H & S requirements.
Our extract chests are manufactured from galvanised steel and are supplied complete with support mesh & two-stage dry filter system.
The modular construction of our chests means that you can easily fix a combination of standard size chests together to form bigger chests. For example:
2 x 2m long chests, fitted end to end to form a 4m long chest (best suited for a car or van booths).
2 x 2m long chests, fitted one on top of the other to form a 2m long x 2m high chest (best suited for industrial painting or fitted inside shipping container).
For smart repairs or for localised extraction in your workshop we offer a mobile unit. Manufactured in the same way as our standard chests these units are supplied fully assembled and come complete with a 6m length of flexible ducting.
For a spray booth environment, a suitably rated fan should always be fitted. The TSS fan is designed to work with the range of TSS equipment but can also be fitted onto many existing booths or ventilation systems.
For optimum control of the fan unit, we would recommend the fitting of a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD). This device not only provides start/stop functionality but also provides speed control.
